The coast of Pisa has always been the City of Pisa’s access to the sea. Two rivers cross this area: the Arno and the Serchio. Additionally, there are also two natural reserves in the area: the Estate of San Rossore in the north and the Estate of Tombolo in the south. There are four important seaside resorts on the coast: Marina di Vecchiano, Marina di Pisa, Tirrenia and Calambrone.
